Modern work is no longer defined by office or remote locations, but by mobility. Nearly 48% of the global workforce now works remotely full-time or part-time, often from cafés, libraries, lounges, and other public spaces. As employees access tools like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Salesforce from anywhere, traditional perimeter-based security models are no longer sufficient. Organizations must provide secure, fast, and seamless access to corporate resources regardless of where employees work, because today, work no longer has a fixed physical perimeter.
